Sheldon Oppermann, BOMA Fellow, CPM, RPA, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Compass Properties, LLC

A past member of BOMA International’s executive committee, and BOMA Fellow, Sheldon manages the day to day operations for Compass Properties, LLC. a prominent Wisconsin real estate developer, owner, and property management company. Sheldon has over 20 years of commercial real estate management, construction, and development experience. He is also a licensed real estate broker, Certified Property Manager (CPM-IREM), and Real Property Administrator (RPA – BOMI) and Fitwel Ambassador. Sheldon holds an MBA and BS in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  In 2016, he received a Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude, from Marquette University Law School and has been serving as Compass Properties’ General Counsel since.


Suzanne Maynard, GP Real Estate and Finance, Asset Manager GP Center, GP Pro

Suzanne is the Asset Manager for GP Center and is responsible for the real estate activities in a multi-tenant, Class A building in downtown Atlanta. 

Prior to joining GP in 2019 Suzanne had her own workplace strategy and change management consulting practice and has been working with Georgia Pacific as they explored the new way of working at GP Center, later branded Blue Sky.  A seasoned consultant, Suzanne’s unique industry perspective comes from broad and varied roles in delivering workplace environments, ranging from design studio lead and project manager to portfolio and employee strategic planning, change management, and corporate real estate. Suzanne has led the strategy and planning for more than 20 corporate headquarters over her career. Prior to starting an independent consulting practice, Suzanne was Director of Workplace Strategy at CBRE where she led the southeast region

Suzanne is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has a passion for outdoor activities, including camping, kayaking, and hiking.  She and her family moved from Chicago to Atlanta in 2014 and have enjoyed their new outdoor lifestyle here in Atlanta.  


Cristie Campbell, Senior Business Development Manager, ABM

Christie has been in Sales and Management for 16 years and with ABM since 2010. Her current position as Senior Business Development Manager with ABM includes responsibility for all new business in the Southeast Region consisting of 7 States and 10 Business Development Managers and over $20 million in annual revenues. 
Her primary responsibilities are to provide leadership, guidance and training to the sales team and acts as ABM’s Subject Matter Expert for Commercial Real Estate market throughout the Southeast Region. 


John Strom, SVP Marketing GP PRO - Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP

John Strom is senior vice-president of marketing at GP PRO. John began his career at Georgia-Pacific in 1999 as division sales manager for the central region of Georgia Pacific Commercial. Through a subsequent series of role assignments, John was named VP of sales in 2008, VP/ GM in 2012, VP marketing strategy in 2014, and most recently, SVP of marketing in 2015.

Prior to joining Georgia-Pacific, John spent thirteen years in multiple sales and sales management roles at Wisconsin Tissue.

A native of Sweden, John earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of South Carolina in 1986.  


Andie Workman, eCommerce Merchandising Associate, GP Pro

Andie Workman started with Georgia-Pacific in the summer of 2017 as an intern and then came back full time as a JumpStart Associate for GP Pro in June 2018. She completed rotations in Marketing Research, Virtual Sales, eCommerce and Category during her time as a JumpStart Associate. She currently holds a role as an eCommerce Merchandising Associate, where she works on content strategy for customers.  

Andie graduated from Berry College in May 2018 with a marketing degree and resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys running and biking.
