Mr. Brierley has over twenty-four years of real estate management experience, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties located throughout New England for such companies as Gilbane Properties, Meredith & Grew (now Colliers International), Beacon Properties, and Equity Office. Since December 2004, Rob has been with Brookfield Office Properties serving as their Vice President of Operations for the Boston Region.
Mr. Brierley has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. He is currently working toward achieving the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the BOMI Institute. He has achieved certification by the BOMI Institute as a Certified Instructor for their educational programs.
Since 2001, Mr. Brierley has served on the BOMA Boston Board of Directors and over the years has chaired the BOMA Boston Education Committee and served in various Executive capacities including stints as BOMA Boston’s Secretary, President-Elect and two terms as President. In addition, to Rob’s involvement with BOMA Boston, he presently is the Chairman-Elect for the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB) and will take over the role of Chairman in January 2013.
In 2010, Rob was elected to the BOMA International Executive Committee and is presently serving his second term. In 2012, he was named as the Chair for the BOMA360 Council. Also, in 2012, Rob was selected as part of the inaugural members of the BOMA Fellows program.
Joel Corley became Manager of the BOMA 360 Program in 2012 after working three years with BOMA’s Advocacy department and also assisting in the development of the BOMA 360 Program. Joel is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, with a B.S. in Political Science/International Relations.
