This webinar is designed to assist BOMA members and local BOMA associations in establishing a strong local voice to influence the development of national model building codes and the local building code adoption process. Later this month, the International Code Council will finalize the International Green Construction Code.

It is critical to the continued success of BOMA’s code advocacy efforts for BOMA members to get more actively involved to educate ICC voters on important building code provisions of concern to the commercial real estate industry. In addition, some jurisdictions have already begun the process to adopt the 2015 suite of building codes. This webinar will provide the tools to engage with local officials and communicate BOMA’s positions on priority issues to ensure commercial real estate’s concerns are represented in the model code development arena and throughout the local code adoption process.
