Artificial Intelligence and Your Security Program

Dennis M. Crowley, Senior Vice President, Integrated Technology, Allied Universal

At Allied Universal, Crowley is responsible for overseeing integrated technology and exploring new products and services to determine their viability in being added to the company’s suite of solutions. Previously, he served as President, Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Apollo International, a company he helped to found and grow to a successful business from 2003 to 2016. Following that period, he advanced to his current role, when Apollo International was acquired by Allied Universal.

Crowley has an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, a graduate certificate in business administration from Harvard University and is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School. He is an active member of ASIS International and is a frequent presenter on the topic of security robotics and advanced technology.

  

Michael Quiroga, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Intelligent Drone Systems

During his 15-year career in the security industry, Quiroga has held several key leadership positions for successful technology companies such as Speco Technologies and Tech Force Engineering, an enterprise security design and consulting company he founded.

After successfully running Tech Force Engineering for several years, Quiroga was recruited by Protection 1 to manage major national accounts before transitioning to United Technologies as Director of Commercial Integrated Security Products. As CEO and founder of Intelligent Drone Systems, he currently consults for numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as local and foreign government/military agencies.

Quiroga attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and is a USA Wrestling National Champion. He sits on the Florida board of directors for Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International—the world’s largest organization devoted to advancing unmanned systems and is also a member of the Airborne Law Enforcement Association.

 

  

Brian D. Szady, Founder, ThreatMinder

Szady loves his product and believes in making things simple. He has been developing web-based and mobile products since 1995, when the Internet was simply the Mosaic browser with a few ‘gopher’ commands. Szady founded ThreatMinder because he believes threats to corporate assets must be understood and acted upon quickly. ThreatMinder uses algorithms, crawling, data analytics and machine learning to help make threats easy to understand, act upon and combat.
